The dehumidifier does exactly what I wanted and in some ways is even better as it extracts way more water in a short time than I thought it would!
I had a call confirming my purchase and was given a rough estimate of when it would be delivered. I emailed a few days later for a closer estimate and was supplied with a tracking link/number for the delivery company, all on time. The only downside was the £20 delivery fee since I was out of the local area, however the product is fantastic so I'm glad I paid.
So far I have bought a washing machine, dishwasher and dehumidifier from Beacon plus other bits and pieces. Recommended as a first choice for advice and appliances.
This dries laundry effectively when weather prevents outdoor. This model is easy to adjust, also gives off heat, warming the area. This is a huge advantage, the warmth, plus dessicant greatly speeds the drying of spun washing, far faster than my refridgerant dehumidifier. Winter mould growth is restricted too. I move it around according to need, it is not too heavy and the water container easy to remove and replace in seconds. No wrestling, unlike the refridgerant model I've had for years. I'm thinking of buying a second one, it is brilliant.

Great little unit. Quiet and dries the washing keeping the room dry, free from moisture and warm.
Couldn't fault the service from Beacon Electrical and would definately use them next time I need an appliance. However, after just 31 days the tumble dryer stopped working, having blown the electrics in the house. A Hotpoint engineer came and appeared to repair it, it was a manufacturing wiring fault, but using it later that day, there was an obvious fault with the Start button. I am now waiting for Hotpoint to contact me regarding a replacement dryer.

Extraordinary laundry dryer setting which gets stuff that can't go in the tumble dryer dry almost as quick as the stuff in the tumble dryer. All done very quietly so can run through the night.

I purchased one in January this year and it does the job so well that family all want to borrow it so I've ordered another, it's very quite and removes moisture from the home that I didnt realize was there and great value . Customer service is excellent and will strongly recommend Beacon Electrical.
Having the air outlet in the door is both awkward and a weakness. You have to connect and disconnect every time you open the door, which will inevitably wear out the connection. And it doesn't easily fit in the unit it is supposed to sit in.
