The Hotpoint microwave has so far proved to be a very good purchase. It has a very large capacity for an inbuilt model, and the drop-down door is much better than a conventional hinge door. The price was also very good compared to the usual premium charged by high end brands for inbuilt models. Beacon service was very good.
The washing machine does the good job however the dryer takes a very long time to dry things, like hours. Which isn’t great economically or for the environment. Also the lovely smell you get from the wash isn’t taken away with the drying process where it leaves your clothes smelling more of rubber. It is convenient though to use a wash and dry programme if you are busy and to will just do both but it’s will take all day! Also I still haven’t worked out how to reflux the machine as after a drying cycle, the next few washes, the clothes will come out with fluff on! If I was to pick again I would pick a washer/dryer combo I don’t think

Customer service and the service I received was first class I would highly recommend and buy from again.
I had regular contact throughout the process, the cooker was delivered, packaging and old cooker removed. They sent a separate guy to connect it to the mains gas, but this was less than an hour after it was delivered (the time they specified), and it was all done with no problems or issues. Would definitely buy from them again.
Having come from using a single oven, I find this much more efficient, requiring less energy and time to cook things. The top burners are especially good as they do their job well even on a very low setting. The only down side I find is that there is no oven light.
Service and product generally good but the top grill takes some getting used to - it is either too powerful on both elements or too puny one one. The markings on the knobs are an exercise in subtlety, being so faint as to need squinting and bright oblique light to be seen. Beacon Electrical web site O.K., but i failed to find the info that installation was offered. Having said that, I did have the good fortune to find a good installer - not too common these days.

I bought 2 of these. One did not work properly so took it back to shop where it was looked at and now it is doing everything it should. Good item. Excellent service.
My only comment would be the delivery communication. I didn’t know when it was going to be delivered and it was left out front of my house. Lucky we live in a quiet neighbourhood.
